AjaxChat Shout Outs Module (beta)

Ajaxchat Shout Outs is a Beta ShoutBox Module for AjaxChat allows you to display a ShoutBox for your site visitors/members to post messages. The messages and "Shout Room" are editable in the AjaxChat admin panel.

The Shout Outs module is bundled with our AjaxChat Product which also comes with the Live Users Module.

This module is currently Beta. If you are interested in testing the module please download it from the AjaxChat downloads directory and install it on a Joomla testing site that has AjaxChat installed.

AjaxChat Live Users Module

AjaxChat LiveUsersAjax Chat Companion Module showing the online users with their profile card.
This module allows users to Private Chat while browsing your site. is a Joomla module that shows a list of users online, with configurable links to different popular third party components functionality. It allows your site members to Private Chat with each other using AjaxChat while browsing your Joomla/Mambo Website. Mod Liveusers requires Ajax Chat to be installed and published.
Note: Mod Liveusers comes free bundled with other extensions if you have purchased AjaxChat.

Linear PHP Read Directory Class

While searching the net for a PHP class to read directories. I found mostly directory to array functions that read a directory, and converted it to an array, that in turn you have to read.
This means looping through a directory's contents, saving it to an array (that takes up memory), then looping through the array again to read the directory contents!

I didn't like this, so heres a class that loops through the directory contents only once, does not create a huge memory hogging array, hides the recursive programming from your code, while giving you the same or better functionality then a directory to array class or function.
