Gabe,
Right now, Speedy ignores PHP files. Could you include a text box to enter file paths (e.g. templates/templatename/lib/js/template.js.php)? Some of the largest files are JS and CSS which is parsed dynamically.
Tx,
Chris

Hey Gabe,
Found out why I was having so much trouble seeing GZIP and other Speedy assistance in YSlow. I had setup Phil Taylor's Google Gears plugin for the backend. To do that, you have to tell Gears is good for the whole site. I kept getting ungzipped results and tried cache, etc... Ultimately, I fired up IBM Page Detailer and it watched the HTTP socket. Every 5 seconds a new Gears manifest would show up for the frontend. I thought it was only for the backend, but nooo. I disabled Gears for my site in question and bang! I'm back in business.
Tx,
Chris
