Hello to all.

I m going to create a calender based appointment website.

Is it possible with PHP page component and is there any extension for it to do.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME?

You can use PHP page component for that, but I would recommend going with a full component.

You can search http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/calendars-a-events for calendar extensions, there are many open source that you can modify or base your component on.
There are many calendar classes available open source also, here is one I wrote a while back: http://code.google.com/p/php-calendar-class/
