The Joomla Geshibot Plugin is based on the default Joomla Geshi Plugin. However, it extends a few features and allows further customization, providing syntax highlighting for many programming languages. Geshibot is an implementation of the Geshi Project.
Joomla Geshibot Plugin Compatibility
The Joomla Geshibot Plugin is currently only compatible with Joomla1.0. Joomla1.5 support will be available soon.

Joomla Geshibot Installation and Configuration

Download the latest version of Joomla Geshibot Plugin from our Open Source Joomla Plugins Download Section.

In your Joomla Administration Panel, go to Installers -> Mambots and upload the Joomla Geshibot Plugin Installation package you downloaded.

Go to the Mambot Administration Panel: Mambots -> Site Mambots, choose the "Joomla Geshibot Plugin" plugin from the list and choose "Edit" to edit the parameters.

Choose the parameters necessary for your needs.

Publish the Plugin.

You can either use the <pre> syntax or the {geshibot} syntax. Both are documented in the plugin.

After installing Joomla Geshibot Plugin through the Joomla Admin Panel, choose it from the list of installed site plugins so that you can edit its parameters and publish it.
